As Pac-12 Media Day commences today in San Francisco, the Arizona Wildcats are tabbed as the Pac-12 favorite by the media covering the Pac-12.  The Wildcats received 22 first place votes while the USC Trojans picked up one.

Guards Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Rawle Alkins join swingman Allonzo Trier and center Dusan Ristic in the starting line up after Trier was the Most Outstanding Player of last season’s Pac-12 Tournament and is listed on many preseason watch lists across the country.

The Trojans check in at second which is the highest they have been picked in the preseason polls in it’s history. Coach Andy Enfield returns his starting five as well with a dynamic tandem of Bennie Boatwright and Chimezi Metu in the middle.

UCLA is slated third even though they lost a ton of talented players to the NBA and professional basketball.  The Bruins return a pair of double digit scorers in Aaron Holiday and Thomas Welsh while adding a 5-star point guard in Jaylen Hands.
