Western Carolina Catamounts head coach Justin Gray makes his first appearance on “Marching to Madness”. He is in his second season at Western Carolina as the Catamounts are tied for fourth in the Southern Conference as of right now as four players average double figures, led by Tyzhaun Claude at 14.9 points and a team-leading 8.5 rebounds, as well.
Gray played four seasons at Wake Forest under the late Skip Prosser as he was a major key in the offense as a shooter where he averaged 16.7 ppg. over his career while shooting 37.1 percent from the three-point line.
Topics of discussion include:
- The influence of playing for Skip Prosser, Dino Gaudio, and Pat Kelsey as a talented 3-point shooter
- Tyzhaun Claude’s ability to be a leader with his inside play
- Tre Jackson and Russell Jones as three-point marksmen
- Vonterious Woolbright as a shooter and a playmaker
